Sparks is Coming to a Bookstore Near You!

Now that the manuscript for Sparks is FINALLY closed for good on my computer, it’s time to get started on the next phase of the journey: Planning the Sparks book tour!

The plan is to set up readings and writing workshops in as many indie bookstores and libraries as possible this summer.

It’s all very surreal—in a good way! When I started writing this novel (years ago at this point), a book tour was NEVER a thought. It wasn’t even a possibility to me. This story was going to get churned out, given a spit and polish, and then be unleashed on the world as an e-book.

But then my dedicated and persevering beta readers got involved. They pushed, poked, and prodded me to put my best work forward. Suddenly, my smutty little manuscript was filled with chapters and depth. Without my beta readers, this novel would never have happened. I’m incredibly grateful to them, and I’m proud of what I’ll get to present to you all.

I’m still working out the details with a few very generous spots that have offered to host a Sparks reading and/or writing workshop. (I’m particularly excited about the workshops—stayed for more details on that!)
